This page explains what cookies we use on skygena.com, why, and how you can control them. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Notice.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow the site to recognise your browser across requests and are used for things like remembering preferences, keeping you logged in, or measuring how the site is used.
The cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary (always on)
- skygena.consent.v1 — your cookie consent choices. Stored in localStorage. 12 months.
- Session/security — short-lived cookies required for the site to operate securely.
These cookies are essential. You cannot switch them off. They do not require your consent under Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive.
2. Analytics (optional — off by default)
Anonymised usage statistics. Only set if you accept analytics cookies. We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not track you across sites. You can switch them off at any time.
3. Marketing (optional — off by default)
We currently do not run marketing cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated and your consent will be requested again.
How to change your choices
You can re-open the cookie banner at any time by clicking the button below:
You can also clear your browser's cookies and localStorage at any time. The next visit will show the banner again.
Third-party cookies
We do not knowingly set third-party cookies without your consent. If you use Skyra (our AI concierge), your messages are sent to Anthropic's LLM API — no cookies are set by that interaction, but the message content is processed by Anthropic for the purpose of replying. See Privacy Notice for details.
